General
1. These general terms and conditions apply to every agreement between Val-Travel VOF and the tenant.
2. Val-Travel VOF is not bound by its offer in case of printing, typesetting or programming errors on the website.
3. If the tenant reserves the camper, the tenant must, prior to the agreement between Val-Travel VOF and the tenant, be able to take note of these general terms and conditions and sign and read them.
Establishment of the agreement
1. The agreement is concluded:
a. Because the tenant and Val-Travel VOF have signed the written agreement; or
b. Because the tenant has gone through the entire reservation process and paid the down payment.
2. After the agreement has been concluded and Val-Travel VOF has received the deposit, Val-Travel VOF will send the tenant a confirmation e-mail, unless Val-Travel VOF cancels the reservation in accordance with the next article. As long as the tenant has not received this confirmation e-mail, the tenant can cancel the reservation free of charge.
Cancellation of the reservation by Val-Travel VOF
1. Val-Travel VOF can cancel a placed reservation. In such a case, the tenant will not receive a confirmation e-mail and the tenant will be notified of this via the e-mail as soon as possible after he has placed the reservation and the deposit will be refunded to the tenant.
2. Val-Travel VOF is entitled to cancel the reservation, even after the tenant has confirmed the reservation, in case of force majeure. Force majeure is understood to mean weather conditions so it is not wise to drive with the camper or so there is a great chance that when driving with the camper damage will occur to the camper or the go of the motorhome reserved by the tenant and Val-Travel VOF can not provide a comparable camper.
3. If Val-Travel VOF cancels the reservation due to force majeure, Val-Travel VOF will refund the deposit to the tenant.
4. In case of cancellation of the reservation Val-Travel VOF is not liable for the damage that the tenant suffers as a result.
Rental Period
The rental period starts between 15.00 and 17.00 and ends between 09.00 and 10.00. Each camper has its own collection and return time. These times are stated in the agreement and / or the reservation. If the rental period is exceeded by more than 4 hours, one day rent (1 / 7th part of the weekly rent) plus an additional fee of € 400 will be charged to the tenant. For every day thereafter that the tenant returns the camper late, the daily rent plus the extra fee of € 400 will be charged to the tenant.
Not being able to make the camper available
If Val-Travel VOF can not make the motorhome available to the lessee, for example because the previous lessee did not return the motorhome in time, then Val-Travel VOF has the right to make a similar motorhome available to the lessee. This comparable camper must be accepted by the tenant. If there is no comparable camper available, the lessee can only claim a refund of the lost days. The tenant in such a case is not entitled to compensation or any other form of compensation.
Kilometers
300 kilometers are included in the rent per rental day, unless stated otherwise in the agreement. For the kilometers that the tenant has driven extra (per total period), € 0.25 per kilometer will be charged.
Insurance
1. The camper is insured all-risk. There is a deductible of € 650 per event, which in case of damage at home and abroad will be charged to the tenant for damage due to irresponsible use such as e.g. driving under the influence or deliberate destruction. All damage caused by loss and / or improper use are for the account of the tenant.
2. Damage not covered by the insurance due to the fact that the driver was under the influence of alcoholic drink or any intoxicating or stimulating substance at the time of the accident, that he was not deemed capable of driving the motorhome properly, is entirely at the expense of the tenant. The damage caused by driving non-authorized persons is also at the expense of the tenant. Damage to the interior is also not covered by the insurance, so repair and replacement costs are fully at the expense of the tenant. Damage to the camper due to carelessness is never at the expense of Val-Travel VOF.
3. The tenant is, in order to be sure of coverage under the insurance, deemed to hand over a police report to the lessor of the accident in all cases of damage involving third parties. In addition, in case of damage of more than € 250, - a police report must be drawn up.
4. The tenant must at all times with return delivery all car papers and the key set as obtained when receiving the camper to hand over to the landlord. If this is not the case, the cover will be canceled by insurance.
Deposit
1. The deposit per rental period is € 650. The deposit must be paid by Cash, PayPal or bank (not credit card) at the latest before the start of the rental period. This deposit, provided that the tenant has fulfilled all his obligations towards Val-Travel VOF, will be refunded to the account of the tenant within 21 days after the tenant has returned the camper, possibly with deduction of additional costs due by the tenant. If it turns out that the deposit is not sufficient for the compensation of the damage Val-Travel VOF is entitled to in accordance with these general terms and conditions, the tenant will immediately charge the excess, determined by Val-Travel VOF, to the deposit to Val-Travel VOF. 2. No interest is paid on the deposit.
3. In case of traveling to a festival, the deposit/deductible is € 2000.
Cancellation
1. Cancellation must be made in writing or via e-mail. The date of mail delivery or email receipt is hereby the cancellation date. Val- Travel VOF advises the tenant to take out travel and cancellation insurance.
2. The earlier return of the camper will not lead to a refund of the rent (or a part of it).
Legitimation
In the case of reservation, identification is possible for the tenant and all drivers. valid passport and driver's license required. Upon reservation, the tenant agrees that his personal data may be verified and copied.
Payment
1. At the conclusion of the agreement the tenant must pay 25% of the rent. The tenant must pay 25% of the rent 6 months before the start of the rental period. If the agreement is concluded within 6 months before the start of the rental period, the tenant must pay 50% of the rent at the conclusion of the rental agreement. The tenant must pay 50% of the rent and the deposit 6 weeks before the start of the rental period.
2. Payment must be made to bank account NL48ABNA0414162730 t.n.v. Val-Travel VOF in Apeldoorn.
3 If the tenant does not pay on time, Val-Travel VOF will send the tenant a reminder. If the tenant does not comply with this reminder, Val-Travel VOF has the right to terminate the contract and the cancellation costs will be charged to the tenant.
4. Any fines received by Val-Travel VOF that relate to the rental period in which the camper was available to the hirer will be charged to the hirer by means of an invoice or deducted from the deposit.
5. If the tenant fails to pay the amount due to Val-Travel VOF on time, Val-Travel VOF will send the tenant a reminder. If the tenant does not comply with the reminder, the tenant is in default. The tenant then owes legal interest. The interest on the due and payable amount will be calculated from the moment that the tenant is in default until the moment of payment of the full amount. If the lessee fails to pay the claim after a reminder and notice of default, Val-Travel VOF can hand over the claim, in which case the lessee, in addition to the total amount owed and the statutory interest, is also obliged to pay all judicial and other costs. extrajudicial costs, insofar as the law allows.
Repair and damage
1. When returning the camper must be in the same condition as at delivery.
2. Despite the fact that the campers of Val-Travel VOF are well maintained, a defect can always occur or damage can occur.
3. The tenant may have necessary repairs carried out up to € 100. This must be done with an expert repair device, preferably a dealer of the brand of the camper. For repairs exceeding this amount, contact with Val-Travel VOF must always be contacted at all times and approval must be requested. The tenant will follow the instructions of Val-Travel VOF if possible. In the name of Val-Travel VOF, original and specified invoices are returned to the tenant after the end of the rental period.
4. Damage to the interior, airco unit on the roof, navigation, radio / CD, TV / DVD, reversing camera, awning and bicycle rack is at the risk of the tenant, subject to normal wear and wear.
5. The local police must be called in for each collision and the European claim form must be completed. The tenant must also inform Val-Travel VOF by telephone within 12 hours.
6. Damage and costs not covered by the insurance, such as as a result of driving under the influence, letting it run by unauthorized persons, by seizure, drug transport, flooding, destroying the interior etc. are entirely at the expense of the tenant.

8. Reimbursement of holiday days in relation to a defect is / are excluded. Due to a defect in a part during the rental period, the tenant can not claim compensation.
Maintenance and damage to inventory
1. The camper is delivered with a full fuel tank, full clean water tank, empty waste water tank, empty cassette toilet and fully cleaned inside and outside. At the end of the rental period, the camper must be clean inside and outside (except for the roof), the clean water tank empty, the waste water tank and the cassette toilet must be empty and cleaned and returned with a full fuel tank. If this is not the case, the deposit will be deducted:
a. A maximum amount of € 100 for cleaning the inside;
b. € 50 for cleaning the outside;
c. € 50 for emptying the waste water tank;
d. € 50 for emptying or cleaning the cassette toilet;
e. € 25 for filling up the fuel tank + the fuel costs.
2. When damage to inventory arises or if parts are missing, only an identical copy may be purchased as a replacement.
Fuel
Consumption of fuel (diesel) is for the account of the tenant. The tenant receives the camper with a full fuel tank and the tenant must return the camper fully refueled.
Consumption costs
There are no costs associated with liquid consumption for the chemical toilet and any oil consumption.
Driver
1. The driver must be at least 21 years old and 3 years in possession of a valid Dutch driving license B. Non-Dutch residents must be in possession of a valid international driving license, which can be applied for in the country of origin. Driving license B is sufficient for driving the motorhome, taking into account a weight on license plate varying from 3000 to 3100 kg, according to EU standard including driver (75 kg), full fuel, fresh water tanks, gas cylinders, spare wheel, cable reel, standard on-board tools and 10 kg for each meter of the camper.
2. The camper can only be driven by the driver (s) specified by the tenant. The tenant is personally responsible for traffic violations made.
3. The driver must follow all instructions provided by Val-Travel VOF when using the camper. The driver must drive carefully and safely with the motorhome. It is expressly not allowed to drive faster than the maximum permitted speed.
Obligations of the tenant
1. If the lessee is not the driver, the lessee must inform the driver of these general terms and conditions and ensure that the driver observes the general conditions.
2. The camper will remain the property of Val-Travel VOF at all times. The tenant is not permitted to sub-rent the motorhome, offer it for sale, sell it, transfer it, encumber it or make it available to third parties.
3. The tenant guarantees that he or the driver has such a physical and mental condition that is necessary to be able to drive the camper safely.
4. The tenant is responsible for the goods and persons he transports in the camper. It is explicitly not permitted to transport illegal goods, such as narcotics, with the motorhome.
5. The camper must be used in accordance with local laws and regulations.
6. If the tenant does not fulfill his obligations towards Val-Travel VOF arising from the agreement, these general terms and conditions or the law, not timely or not fully, then the tenant must compensate all damage and / or costs that Val-Travel VOF suffers as a result.
Instruction
When picking up the camper, the tenant receives extensive instructions about the operation of the camper and accessories. This instruction is also present in the camper in writing.
Which countries may be visited
All countries in Europe may be visited with the motorhome with the risk areas identified in advance by the insurance and Val-Travel VOF. Damage arising in risk areas is for the account of the tenant.
Pets
Pets are not allowed without written permission from Val-Travel VOF. If a pet is used in the camper without permission from the landlord, an amount of € 500 will be deducted from the deposit, excluding the visible damage made by the pet.
Smoking
Smoking in the camper is not allowed. If the camper has smoked, an amount of € 250 will be deducted from the deposit.
Parking
Leaving a car of the lessee and / or driver on the premises of Val-Travel VOF during the rental period is entirely at your own risk. Val-Travel VOF is not liable for any consequences that the parking of this vehicle entails (for example, damage or theft).
Liability
1. Val-Travel VOF is not liable for any damage caused by the temporary or unavailability of the reservation possibility, inaccessibility or removal of its website due to maintenance or otherwise.
2. The colors that can be seen on the screen of the tenant may deviate from the colors that the camper actually has. Val-Travel VOF is not liable for such color deviations.
3. Val-Travel VOF can not be held to compensate any damage, which is a direct or indirect consequence of:
a. An event that is in fact beyond her control and thus can not be attributed to her and / or allowed to be attributed to her;
b. Any act or negligence of the tenant or the driver.
4. Val-Travel VOF is not liable for damage, of whatever nature, because Val-Travel VOF is based on incorrect and / or incomplete information provided by the lessee.
5. Val-Travel VOF is furthermore never liable for personal, material and / or immaterial damage of the tenant, driver or his travel companions, caused by the use of the camper, mechanical breakdown and / or collision damage.
6. Val-Travel VOF is never liable for indirect damage, including consequential damage, loss of profit, missed savings and damage due to business stagnation. If Val-Travel VOF should be liable for any damage, the liability of Val-Travel VOF is limited to the amount of the payment made by Val-Travel VOF's insurer. If in any case the insurer does not pay out or the damage is not covered by the insurance, the liability of ValTravel VOF is limited to the rent.
7. The limitations of liability for direct damage included in these general terms and conditions do not apply if the damage is due to intent or deliberate recklessness of Val-Travel VOF.
Processing of personal data
1. Val-Travel VOF processes personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act.
2. Val-Travel VOF is allowed to provide personal data to a third party:
a. If the tenant and / or driver has expressly given permission for this;
b. In the context of a statutory regulation or legal procedure;
c. To protect the rights or property of Val-Travel VOF;
d. To prevent a crime or to protect state security;
e. In the event of suspicion of fraud or other illegal activities;

3. The personal details of the tenant and / or driver can be included in the Car Rental Warning System. The personal details of the lessee and / or driver can in any case be included if the vehicle is misappropriated if the rental price is not paid or not paid in time and if the camper is intentionally damaged. Applicable law and competent court
1. Dutch law applies to every contract between Val-Travel VOF and the tenant.
2. All disputes concerning agreements between the tenant and Val-Travel VOF shall be settled by the competent court in the Netherlands within whose jurisdiction the location of Val-Travel VOF is located. The tenant has 1 month after Val-Travel VOF has appealed to the tenant in writing against this stipulation, in order to decide on the dispute before the competent court according to the law.
